DANCE AND VISUAL ART COLLABORATION

A project exploring individual and collective mental health following the pandemic.

‘These 4 Walls’ is a dance and visual art project, the theme of the project was to research and develop the challenges and small miracles that have taken place behind closed doors in Lockdown. Daisy Farris and I worked with her dance company DFDC and participants from the community in Gravesend, South London and Medway to gather a range of responses through both movement and visual art, the aim was to spark a conversation about how Lockdown has affected our mental health.

‘These 4 Walls’ was performed inside a house-shaped frame with curtains embroidered by creatives from the community at St. Andrews Arts Centre, Gravesend.
