DANCE AND VISUAL ART COLLABORATION.

A project exploring individual and collective mental health during Lockdown and the challenges and small miracles that took place behind closed doors. Nicola and Daisy Farris, with dance company DFDC   collaborated with participants from communities in Gravesend, South London and Medway to gather movement and visual art responses to the effects Lockdown had on mental health.

‘These 4 Walls’ was performed in a scaffolding house with curtains embroidered by the community in Gravesend.

Performances at St. Andrews Arts Centre, Woodville Halls, Gravesend, St. Nicholas Special Education school and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.

Funded by Arts Council England and support in kind by Gravesham Borough Council.
