PLAYGROUND TRAVELS

In 2025 Playground travelled from Kent reaching fellow artists, carer’s and babies in Finland and Singapore.

In April 2025 Playground Artist Abigail Huan and I traveled to the Cultural Centre in Pori to meet with artists and experience their Experiential Colour Workshop for babies. We were introduced to the theory, science and logistics behind the Colour sessions and observed a practical workshop. In exchange we delivered a Baby Playground session designed specifically for the Finnish babies. The artists at the Cultural Centre gave us a detailed tour of the art activities in Pori and this included visiting their outreach work in Pori Health centres where they exhibit the artwork of children and health care staff and run more Colour workshops, accompanied by a nurse for support with very young babies.

In June 2025 Baby Playground travelled to The Artspace in Singapore, here we delivered a programme of baby sessions accompanied by a Playground capability session (PG Professional Development session) for Singapore Artists working with Early Years.
